Ring sizes
How to measure
- Cut a thin strip of paper, or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger you want the ring for.
- Mark where the ends meet and measure the length in millimetres. That is your circumference.
- Find the nearest circumference in the table. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and not when your hands are cold. A ring for a wide band needs a slightly larger size.
The European size is the inside circumference in millimetres, as set out in ISO 8653. The UK size is a letter, one letter step being 1.25 mm of circumference.
